Authorial Boras
The Lungomare Art flagship consists of 10 selected and specifically mapped locations that make up the natural belt of the Kvarner Bay. It’s becoming a point of encounter and reinterpretation of the natural, social and historical heritage through contemporary art with the intention of connecting local communities and visitors – temporary inhabitants of the region. One of the parts of the Lungomare Art programme is the project “Authorial Boras”.
Authors, locations, and stories of "Authorial Boras"
From March to May 2018, fifteen selected authors of the region, writing in “bhsc” languages (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Montenegrin), spent a month discovering the particularities of Kvarner (each author at their designated location). All of the authors were charged with writing a short prosaic text related to the location they visited.
