Starting with today you can look for us on ITB, world’s biggest tourism fair in Berlin!

Rijeka 2020 ECOC, starting with today, will be presenting itself at ITB, world’s biggest tourism fair, taking place from March 7th to March 11th in Berlin.

Rijeka and its wider region will be represented by RIJEKA 2020, Rijeka’s Tourism Board, Rijeka’s travel agencies (Travelana, Autotrans, MedAdria, and My travel) as well as Jadran hoteli d.d.

The design of Rijeka’s pavilion is the work of famous architects Idis Turato and Ida Križaj Leko. The concept for the presentation was created by project partners Marko-Luka Zubčić and Renato Stanković, while the promotional booklet “Rijeka City in Progress” is the work of ECOC team members Bernard Koludrović (RiHub programme leader), Jelena Milić (Children’s House programme coordinator), Lela Vujanić (Kitchen programme head), Jelena Androić (public relations head), Irena Kregar Šegota (development and strategic partnerships director) and Slaven Tolj (art director for Rijeka 2020 ECOC). Studio Sonda designed the booklet.

Rijeka will use this opportunity to announce its ECOC title for 2020, preparations for which are already well under way. It will announce some of Rijeka 2020 ECOC’s most important events that will take place this summer: the opening of RiHub cultural-information center’s new location; a new edition of Tobogan children’s festival at the end of June and start of July; EASA, the international conference of architecture students taking place in July; the second Industrial art biennale where people will be able to spend a night in Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art between July and October; and the new edition of Porto Etno festival of music and food in September.
