Rijeka2020 presented in the international European Interdisciplinary Studies conference

On Monday, 20 October 2014, within the international conference European Interdisciplinary Studies: (New) Challenges for Europe in a Changing World / Knowledge – a Key Tool for a Better Europe, the Rijeka candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2020 was presented.

In his welcoming speech to conference guests and participants, the Mayor presented the developmental potential and vision of Rijeka, pointing out the candidacy for the European Capital of Culture as one of the strategic objectives and a tool for the city and its citizens to realise their potential.
