Additional Programme
The Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture project, along with the cultural-artistic programme, also places an emphasis on the establishment of cultural organisations and initiatives of the citizens of the wider local community and international networking. Their participation in the project is one of the goals which, amongst others, is created by small socio-cultural actions or the raising of awareness about ecology in the broadest sense. Thereby the quality of life of a community is raised and it gives the opportunity for the active inclusion of everyone who wants to contribute with their involvement.

RiHub
RiHub is a place for contact, exchange and joint action. It will serve as a stage where we will present successful civil initiatives from across Europe and the world in order to inspire the people of Rijeka to action.
Classroom
The Classroom is an integrated learning programme for culture sector capacity building and strengthening the local community by simultaneously developing transversal skills and specialised knowledge and experience.
