Announcement: Forum on Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture

We invite you to the forum on the Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture project on Wednesday, September 20 at 8 PM in the Art-Kino (Krešimirova 2, Rijeka).

Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture is a project with which Rijeka desires to improve the scope and diversity of the city’s cultural offer, elevate accessibility and participation in culture, build the capacities of the cultural sector and its ties to other sectors, and make the city a better place to live.

The whole community – city, region, and beyond – is involved in preparing the programme. It is important that the programme is based on a high quality cooperation of the entire cultural sector, but also society in general.

At the forum, held by representatives of RIJEKA 2020 and its founders and partners, you will be able to learn everything about the Rijeka 2020 team, the results so far, project phases, the current situation, concrete plans for the future, and most importantly, how the whole community can get involved.
