New programme at the Info & Presentation Centre Rijeka 2020
The last few days at the Information and Presentation Centre Rijeka 2020 were pretty exciting and crowded. Right after the opening we’ve welcomed our friends from the Three Sisters 2020. They’re currently bidding for the European Capital of Culture 2020 title in Ireland (joint bid by Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny).
Over the weekend we’ve travelled across flavours of Europe thanks to the local national minority NGOs and we’ve discussed our future cooperation with the Canadian foundation Musagetes and their partners.
Numerous students (high schools and faculties) passed through our Centre at Korzo (both organised and improvised tours) to see the future of their city – a city they’d want to live in.
Around one hundred citizens comes through our Centre every day and we’re sure the number will increase even more.
New events
After a few days of break, we made sure to continue with two top-class events from the culture/entertainment domain.
On Thursday, 17 March, we will host a literary-musical duo Secondary City with their Rijeka ECOC dedicated programme. Tea Tulić and Enver Krivac, winners of the literary Pozak awars, will perform with the help of guitars and computers.
On Friday, 18 March, we will host KUD svi Turci trio who will treat us with jazz standards, original compositions and covers of traditional Balkan songs.
The programme starts at 18 h and everyone’s invited!
