Presentation of Rijeka – European Capital of Culture 2020 in the County

Along with the City of Rijeka, one of the partners in the project Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture is the Primorje – Gorski kotar County. For the purpose of project promotion, but also culture development in general, a series of public lectures were organised for the stakeholders in culture in the area of the entire Primorje – Gorski kotar County – in Lošinj, Krk, Rab, Crikvenica and Delnice. In those public lectures, results of the investigation of the population’s cultural habits were presented, as well as the framework of the Strategy of Cultural Development of the Primorje – Gorski kotar County 2015 – 2020, and the project of the City of Rijeka’s candidacy for the title of the European Capital of Culture.
