In cooperation with the Youth Council of the City of Opatija, the Žmergo Association invites artists and interested public to apply for projects in culture within the OKiZA 2019. (Opatija Culture and Green Activism) program, part of the Opatija’s Neighborhood of programmatic direction of 27 Neighborhoods, as part of the Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture project.
After receiving the online applications, the jury will select 10 creative projects to be presented by the authors to the interested public through short, 5-minute interactive and multimedia presentations at the event to be held on November 28th, 2019 at the Gervais Center in Opatija.
The most interesting project that the jury and audience recognize as the best and most useful for the community, will receive financial support worth 15,000 kn (gross), so that it can be realized in the Opatija area by June 2020 at the latest.
The competition is open for applications from September 5th to November 11th, 2019 (2pm).
Individuals (minimum age limit of 18 years old) and legal entities (association, artistic organization, company, etc.) may apply for the competition.
Applicants do not have to be domiciled or domiciled in the Opatija area.
