The media accreditation system for the Opening Ceremony of the European Capital of Culture Rijeka is now open for registration.

The deadline for media accreditations is Wednesday, 29 January 2020, at 3 p.m.

Media accreditations are obligatory for all the media representatives wishing to cover the central program of Opening Ceremony titled “Opera Industriale“, that will be held in the Port of Rijeka.

Press Centre is located at Botel Marina and provides all the necessary reporting infrastructure. Media representatives will be able to stream the satellite and internet (YouTube) videosignal from HRT (Croatian National Television) live broadcast of “Opera Industriale“.

TV teams will be able to report live from the positions overlooking the central stage, while photo reporters and camera operators will be able to observe the Opening Ceremony from Press Pit, located bellow the central stage, as well as from the special sea vessels.

A day before the official Opening Ceremony, on 31 January 2020, during the late afternoon hours, The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Rijeka will host the opening of the exhibition titled “With the Collection“ by David Maljković, one of the greatest Croatian contemporary visual artists.
